Classes

BLS - Basic Life Support

The AHA BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. It is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills. 

PALS -Pediatric Advanced Life Support

PALS is available in two different training methods. Blended learning and classroom training. PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. 

ENPC - Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course

Accurate assessment of a child with acute illness or injury requires special knowledge and skills. This course provides the core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to properly assess and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for this high-risk patient population.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support

The AHA ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high quality CPR. The ACLS instructor-led course teaches the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, high-performance teams, early and continuous high quality CPR, systems of care, recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, post-cardiac arrest care, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. 

TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Courses

Every second counts when stabilizing life-threatening trauma cases. This course prepares you with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands on training needed to provide high-quality trauma nursing care. The TNCC has been designed by nurses for nurses providing care to trauma patients. 

PHTLS - Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support

The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care. PHTLS courses improve the quality of care and decrease mortality. The program is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of multi-system trauma as a unique entity with specific needs. 

AMLS - Advanced Medical Life Support

AMLS remains the gold standard of education for emergency medical assessment and treatment. AMLS teaches to recognize and manage common medical crises through realistic case-based scenrios that challenge students to apply their knowledge ti highly critical patients. 

Pediatric

Treating pediatric patients is handled differently than adult cases. Pediatric patients compensate differently than older children, learning to treat common childhood ailments and life threatening situations focusing on your physical exam to provide the best care to all patients 

Trauma 

Trauma is the sudden and severe injury caused by physical force. Trauma courses are taught to help providers provide the highest quality care in high stress situations and to have a deep understanding of the pathophysiology that takes place during multi-system trauma.

NRP - Neonatal Resusitation Program

NRP is an evidence based approach to care of the newborn at birth. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes online testing, online case-based simulations and hands-on case-based simulations/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork-skills.

OB/GYN - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Providing specialized care in women's health, specifically reproductive and related conditions. performing deliveries and monitoring fetal heart tones while giving advice to women during pregnancy. Being capable and confident in an emergency to care for any pregnancy situations. 

Continuing Education
 

Continuing education consists of educational activities which serve to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships used to provide services for patients and the public. Continuing education helps you become better at regular tasks or prepare you for taking on new responsibilities.
